Dotzle ("we", "us") provides mobile applications for iOS and Android. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use our mobile apps and related services.

This policy applies to our mobile apps and any in-app experiences or support channels. Our public website may have its own cookie practices; this document focuses on the apps.

• App data: in-app preferences, content you choose to provide, and app usage events (e.g., feature interactions, performance metrics).
• Device and diagnostics: device model, OS version, app version, language, crash logs, and general performance data.
• Support communications: messages you send to us and related metadata.
• Location: only if you grant permission; otherwise we do not collect precise location.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use microphone, camera, contacts, photos, or precise location without your explicit permission inside the app.

How we use data

• Provide and maintain the apps and features you use.
• Improve performance, reliability, and safety (including crash analytics and diagnostics).
• Communicate with you, including support and important updates.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce terms.

Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)

• Contract: to provide requested features and services.
• Legitimate interests: to improve the app, ensure security, and prevent abuse (balanced against your rights).
• Consent: where required for certain permissions or optional analytics/notifications. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app settings or device settings.

Sharing and processors

We may share personal data with:

• Service providers acting as processors (e.g., cloud hosting, crash analytics, push notifications) under data processing agreements.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

• GDPR/UK GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
• California (CCPA/CPRA): right to know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive information; right to opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell or share for cross-context ads). You have the right to non-discrimination.
• Other regions: we honor applicable local rights. Contact us to exercise your rights.

Permissions and platform disclosures

• iOS: You can review and revoke permissions in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
• Android: You can review and revoke permissions in Android Settings → Apps → Permissions.
• Notifications: Enabled only with your consent; you can disable in system settings at any time.
• Analytics/Crash reports: Used to improve stability and quality; where required, we obtain consent or offer controls.

Children

Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; we monitor and improve our safeguards over time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps evolve. We will post updates in the app and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required.
